The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) outlined a plan to for state and local health departments to improve lead screening practices and support communities in reducing childhood lead poisoning. Some of the CDC’s suggestions included improving health education, providing initial lead screenings, and using demographic data to identify neighborhoods that require additional focus.
