Letter from Leonidas H. Berry to “Dear Dr. ____"
As Medical Director of the AME (African Methodist Episcopal) Health Commission, Leonidas H. Berry invited physicians in the church to participate as founding members of the Flying Black Medics, a group of Chicago health care providers who planned to fly to Cairo, Illinois to assist in health care and civil rights activities.
