Nurses working for the Henry Street Visiting Nurse Service in New York City took these snapshots, which show their lives and the lives of the families they cared for in the 1930s.

After the parish’s original wooden church burned down, Father Raymond looked to the empty land on Gun Hill Road to rebuild. On December 4, 1925, at 754 East Gun Hill Road, the Church of Immaculate Conception was completed.
