Domestic Violence: Identification, Treatment, and Referral for the Healthcare Professional, Healthcare Multimedia Group Inc., 1995

This video follows three hypothetical survivors of domestic violence (a pregnant woman abused by her boyfriend, an elderly woman abused by her husband, and a young woman abused by her husband) who seek medical services at a hospital emergency room. The women interact with nurses, doctors, and social workers who model for viewers how to recognize the signs of abuse, make a thorough documentation of the injuries, and implement a system of referrals for their abused patients.
