No Woman Deserves to Hurt: Domestic Violence Education for Women's Health Care Providers, American College of Nurse-Midwives, 1997

This educational video was created for certified nurse-midwives and other women's health care providers to better understand and support their patients who are abused. It is an edited version of an eight-hour presentation given before a live audience by Pat Paluzzi, CNM, MPH and Daniel Sheridan, RN, PhD, both leaders in the field of domestic violence prevention. Domestic violence is presented as a multidisciplinary problem that requires a multidisciplinary response. Women's health care providers play a necessary and critical role in effectively intervening to improve patient's lives.
