Domestic Violence: Recognizing and Treating Abused Patients, Network for Continuing Medical Education, 1997
This training video for hospital personnel is presented by Howard Holtz, MD, co-author of "Hospital Training on Domestic Violence" (1986), one of the first hospital protocols for treating women who were battered. Focusing on the prevalence of domestic violence and the multiple forms that it can take, Holtz presents hypothetical patient cases and instructs health care providers in the prompt and accurate diagnosis and treatment for victims of abuse.
