    赤十字の誕生 昭和三十四年六月二十四日は赤十字思想誕生百年に当たるので記念切手が発行された。エハガキはその切手の図柄にちなんだもの。
    Birth of Red Cross To Commemorate the Centenary of the inception of Red Cross, a special stamp was issued on June 24, 1959. The illustration bellow shows the nurses' activities which are also shown in the design of the stamp.
