"Solid Force of Doctors Witness in Selma Movement"

Leonidas H. Berry headed the Chicago delegation of the Medical Committee for Human Rights to the voting rights march on Selma, Alabama in March 1965, a turning point for the civil rights movement. He staffed the mobile hospital unit for treating injured protesters.
