Letter from Leonidas H. Berry to President Lyndon B. Johnson, about implementation of the new Medicare program
Leonidas H. Berry offered President Lyndon B. Johnson the support of the National Medical Association in the implementation of Medicare, the new health insurance program for senior citizens. "Unlike some physician groups that might not cooperate with or even boycott Medicare, members of the National Medical Association stand ready to serve at your bidding."
