Nora Baladerian created this and many other handbooks about sexual assault for people with developmental disabilities and their advocates. Written and illustrated for people who read at an elementary level or do not read at all, the manuals taught prevention and outreach. The simple black-and-white drawings, which show different assault situations and how to handle them, communicate visually and effectively for those who might have difficulty reading.
