"Nursing Assessment for Risk of Homicide with Battered Women," Advances in Nursing Science, 1986
In this article, Jacquelyn Campbell described the development of her Danger Assessment tool, and the results of tests using the tool with women who had been battered. Her clinical research and data showed that the tool provided a way for a nurse to help a woman who had been battered "make her own assessment of her risk of homicide."
