Kreutterbüch von allem Erdtgewächs, 1533

Eucharius Rösslin was a German apothecary, physician, and author. His book on "all earthy plants," Kreutterbüch von allem Erdtgewächs, provides illustrations of various plants and distillation apparatuses, and served as a manual for creating medicinals. Rösslin is best known for his work on childbirth, Der Rosengarten ("The Rose Garden"), published in 1513. It became the standard text used by midwives.
