The new book of cookery, or, Every woman a perfect cook, ..., ca. 1780
In this "new" edition of her cookbook Elizabeth Price promises recipes embodying both "economy and elegance." Inside are recipes for boiling, roasting, hashing, fricassees, and ragouts, along with confectionary, collaring, and candying. A delightful frontispiece portrays two kitchen maids working in a well-appointed 18th-century English kitchen.
