A little book of rare receipts for the cure of several distempers, ..., 1710

This book encompasses just twelve pages. In it are short, simple recipes instructing the reader how to make pastes or potions to treat twelve ailments: king's evil, stone, colic, black and yellow jaundice, piles, ague, worms, black thrush, breakings out in infancy, rickets, smallpox, and the itch. Common kitchen ingredients or herbs form the basis of many of the recipes.
